This is a collaboration between SSTF, Sunrise, Vasudha, and the HASS STS department, thanks to support from Vollmer Fries Lecture Series funding.
 

McKinney Awards Ceremony - TODAY 4/9

TODAY: The 2026 Annual McKinney Reading Series and Student Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at the Heffner Alumni House. The event will feature Hisham Matar, the Pulitzer Prize–winning author of three novels and two memoirs.

The evening will include the announcement of the McKinney Student Writing Contest winners, a literary reading, and an audience Q&A, followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

RPI Debate Public Debate

The RPI Debate Team will be presenting a double-header public debate on Thursday, April 16 beginning at 6:30pm in Sage 3303. The first debate topic will be increasing nuclear energy production in the United States. The second debate topic will be censorship of social media. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
 

RPI Concert Choir and Wind Symphony Spring Concert

Join the RPI Concert Choir and the RPI Wind Symphony for their Spring Concert on Thursday, April 16th, at 7pm in the Chapel and Cultural Center at 2125 Burdett Avenue on RPI Campus. The first half of the program will feature the Concert Choir performing Morten Laurisden's radiant "Lux aeterna". The Choir will also perform Franz Biebl's enveloping "Ave Maria", three motets of Thomas Tallis, and a breathtaking setting of "Nkosi Sikelel iAfrika".
