I chose economics as my major as I was always interested in learning about businesses, firm decision-making & performance indicators and global economy. After graduation, I am looking forward to work as an Investment Banker, hopefully at a renowned company!!

I am an applied microeconomist specializing in environmental, energy, and natural resource economics. I am interested in regulations targeting energy production, and disparities in exposure to pollution from fossil fuel extraction.

Jorge Rivero

Dr. Rivero is an applied econometrician currently investigating novel modeling approaches towards challenging settings of unobserved heterogeneity. Examples include household-level consumption data of addictive goods and historical data on larger units such as nations. Their most recent work includes panel/longitudinal data analysis on economic agent behavior allowing for heterogeneous effects on an outcome of interest. He is also interested in the joint measurement of inequality along several economic indicators.

Biography: I grew up in New York and studied Computer Science and Economics as an undergraduate. I'm interested in analyzing large economic data using programming.

Undergraduate Studies: Mathematics and Economics (dual major), RPI

Biography: I am interested in behavioral economics and experimental economics. I am doing a research about impact of Asian immigration on the U.S. Urban Housing Prices. I would like to pursue a PhD in the future.
