  • What brought you to RPI?

My dad is an alumnus, so I've been coming to the RPI campus for Homecoming and other events throughout my life. I was really excited when I figured out RPI had a program that fit my ambitions.
  • What is your favorite class at RPI?

COMM 4964 -- Brand Identity Design. It was really cool to develop a fully designed brand and be able to use the work for my portfolio.
  • Where is your favorite on-campus hangout?

When I lived on campus the gazebo on Freshman Hill was our go-to spot!!
  • What are your hobbies?

I like making/producing music, and occasionally I do photography!
  • What is a fun fact about you?

  • What brought you to RPI?

I stopped here on a whim on my way to visit MIT's campus. Even though it was pouring rain the day we got here, the people were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel very at home in Troy. MIT's sunshine was easily outshined by the community at RPI, and that made my choice pretty easy!
  • In what on-campus activities are you involved?

I was on the Ballroom Dance Team my freshman and sophomore years, as well as the Outing Club. I highly recommend both, even though I ended up not having the time to keep up with them!
  • What's your favorite on-campus hangout?

Definitely the Games Project Space in Sage Labs, but that may be more nostalgia from late-night projects than anything...
  • What is a fun fact about you?

I've been learning [American Sign Language]! I really think it will help me build connections in the differently-abled community as I move forward with my goals, and it's a lot of fun!

  • Why did you choose this program?

Two things I value are art and storytelling. I wanted to find a school where I could expand on my creativity and apply it in a new way. With the GSAS and EART programs, I've had the chance to learn the technical and creative skills necessary to play a part in designing interactive narrative experiences.
  • What is your favorite course at RPI, and why?

3D Modeling (ARTS 2230) has been my favorite course so far! I'd never created a 3D model before that class, but I was able to create some cool models and learn a new skill!
  • In what on-campus activities are you involved?

Alpha Omega Epsilon and African Students Association
  • What off-campus experiences have you had?

During my first year a RPI, I got the chance to participate in an incubator program for beginner game designers at the Tech Valley Game Space in Downtown Troy. It was a fun way to familiarize myself with the game-making process while pushing the limits of my creativity.
  • What is something fun about yourself?

I opened my own Etsy shop during quarantine.
