“Peace and Comfort” explores the eternal human themes of adversity, resilience, hope, and overcoming from a diverse set of historical and musical perspectives. Directed by Christopher Fisher-Lochhead and Ricardo Tovar Mateus, the concert features the Rensselaer Fusion Ensemble.
The Fusion Ensemble was formed amid the COVID-19 pandemic and is comprised of the Orchestra, Concert Choir, Chamber Music Ensembles, and remote collaborators. The musicians reimagined how a music ensemble could perform in an era of social distancing to present this year’s holiday concert.
We hope it brings peace and comfort to all as a particularly challenging year comes to a close.
