Major: Music and COMD

I chose my major because music has always been a major part of my life. I have been songwriting for years in addition to singing and playing various instruments and wanted to keep that in my life as much as possible. Additionally, I chose a dual in COMD because I took Leadership and Creativity with Dr. Anicca and rekindled my love for writing and communicating with others! I also love design and am excited to explore more in graphic design as well. I hope to find a career as a music producer and do some songwriting on the side, maybe one day owning my own recording studio!

Favorite Class: I loved Sound Recording and Production I as I finally learned the foundations of music production and got to spend some time in the recording studio. It was super awesome to use such an amazing space and taking the course eventually gave me card access to go to the studio on my own!

Advice: Follow your heart! If you’re missing the arts in your life, it’s worth adding a dual major! It might completely transform your path in a way that suits you!
