Major: Cognitive Science and Computer Science
I chose to dual major in Computer Science and Cognitive Science due to my interest in the intersection of these disciplines. The convergence of human cognition and artificial intelligence. Looking ahead, I want to contribute to development in brain-machine interfaces and advanced machine learning algorithms.
Favorite Class: My favorite class so far was definitely my HASS Inquiry class that I took during my first semester. It was called 'AI & COMPUTING: PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE'. Throughout the semester, we engaged in thought-provoking discussions covering a wide range of topics, from the ethical considerations surrounding AI to its historical development and potential future trajectories. The course not only broadened my understanding of AI's technical aspects but also challenged me to consider its impacts on society, economics, and human interaction.
Research: I am currently working on a research project at the AI lab in University at Albany. It's about using AI and Object detection to provide safety.
Internships/Work Experience: Research Intern at University at Albany
