Biography: Muhammad Fahim, PhD Scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA, has had an academic journey marked by a profound commitment to media and communication studies. Mr. Fahim completed his Master of Arts in Media & Communication Studies at Ankara University in Ankara, Türkiye, fully funded by a prestigious Turkish Government Scholarship, graduating with distinction. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan, receiving merit scholarships for his academic excellence.

Mr. Fahim’s scholarly contributions include numerous refereed journal articles published in prestigious journals such as Communication & Society (SCOPUS Q1), The Arab World Geographer (SCOPUS Q3), and Religion, Media, and Digital Culture (SCOPUS Q1). Additionally, he has published comparative studies on media educational systems in Turkish and Pakistani contexts and editorial analyses on Indian Muslims in Turkish journals and Pakistani journals. He has presented his work at notable conferences, including the prestigious STaPs 21 at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest, Hungary.

Complementing his academic pursuits, Mr. Fahim has worked as a researcher in various organizations in Pakistan and Turkiye, including Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Institute of Peace & Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) in Pakistan, Media Clicks (Pvt) Limited in Pakistan, and the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in Pakistan.

Among his notable achievements are receiving the ‘Highest Achievement Award’ conferred by Ankara University, winning fully-funded European and Turkish Government scholarships, and being awarded the Rise Award in Pakistan. Throughout his academic career, he has earned many diplomas and certifications, actively engaging in and conducting a wide array of seminars, workshops, forums, and conferences.

Mr. Fahim’s contributions to media extend beyond academia. He has authored numerous news articles for Pakistani local newspapers and news-based websites, including The DaySpring Newspaper, Global News Pakistan, and Pakistaninfo.com.
