Area of Research / Interest: Health Economics and Policy, Behavioral and Experimental Economics
Undergraduate Education Institution: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Undergraduate Major: Mathematics, Economics
Biography: I am a PhD student in Applied Economics and Policy, with research interests in health economics and policy, as well as behavioral and experimental economics. I earned my BS in Mathematics and Economics, and my MS in Economics, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. These academic experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and economic theory, which I am now applying to my advanced studies. My goal is to help people understand the effects of economic policies and make informed decisions in the market, bridging the gap between theory and practical application.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking, and crocheting. These hobbies provide a balance between my life and academia. Email: wangy70@rpi.edu
