Biography
Katie Sullivan is a PhD student in STS, thinking, tinkering, and living with the vibrant and frictional offerings of disability culture. Her research interests include patient-led science, disability epistemologies, embodied health movements, and the stories we tell about genes. Sullivan's ongoing research is focused on the diagnostic politics of the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes and the access-making practices of disabled scientists and health professionals, supported by a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
