Biography: Katie Sullivan is a PhD student in STS, thinking, tinkering, and living with the vibrant and frictional offerings of disability culture. Her current research attends to the diagnostic politics of connective tissue disorders and the access-making practices of chronically ill scientists. Sullivan is also a member of the Critical Design Lab. Beyond academic life, however, she is really into making Wikipedia contributions, writing comics, crocheting, and other things of crafty ilk.
