Major: Cognitive Science and Computer Science
I chose this major because I took Prof Bram's Mind and Machine. The course is very interesting and inspiring, it sparked my interest in discovering the relationship between the human mind and machinery computation, I decided to dual major in COGS immediately after I took that course.
I'm applying to Ph.D. programs in both CS and COGS right now, desiring to keep working on related research.
Favorite Class: I would say COGNITION AND THE BRAIN.
Research: My supervisor is Selmer Bringsjord. We are currently conducting a paper to overthrow Nisbett's famous claim about the cognition difference between Easterns and Westerns in logic and reasoning, and we stand with cognition universalism. The hardest part I would say during conducting research was how to come out with our idea and find supporting references.
