Undergraduate Major: Economics with Statistics
Biography: My interest in Economics was ignited during my high school days when I was introduced to the concepts of Economic Growth and Development. Intrigued by the transformative power of technological progress in economic growth, I wondered why my country Ghana, and other sub-Saharan African countries have yet to be able to leverage technological progress to significantly improve their economic fortunes. At RPI, my research will focus on understanding how individuals' and firms' behavioral preferences influence their adoption decisions of newer technologies specifically renewable energy technologies in our quest to ameliorate the glaring effects of climate change and promote sustainable development. Beyond academics, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and playing games. Email: addaeb@rpi.edu
