Dean’s Innovation Grants

RPI School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences

2025–2026

 

Designed to facilitate initiatives that support the immediate priorities of RPI Forward’s Five-Year Roadmap, these grants of up to $2,500 are available to all full-time HASS faculty and staff. 

 

RPI FORWARD FIVE-YEAR ROADMAP PRIORITIES
  1. Strengthen Enrollment Management
  2. Facilitate and Grow Research Impact
  3. Enhance Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy

Examples of fundable activities include: 

  • Events involving K-12 educational institutions and/or students that directly support recruiting for HASS programs
  • Events enhancing alumni and public engagement with, and awareness of, HASS programs and scholarship in the Capital Region
  • Professional development directly supporting curriculum development in HASS
  • Events that foster cross-disciplinary collaborations at RPI leading directly to new sponsored research projects 

 

Proposals of 1–2 pages should include (1) a narrative explaining the project and its contribution to RPI Forward’s Five-Year Roadmap, and (2) a budget detailing anticipated expenses.
