Yoehan Oh has accepted a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Yale for the coming academic year!
Yoehan, who will be defending his dissertation in the Science and Technology Studies Department on June 6, will be appointed in Yale's Department of Computer Science, with an affiliation in Asian Studies. Yoehan will be continuing his research on the historical development of object-oriented programming and database management, as well as the sociotechnical development of Naver, the South Korean analog to Google. He will also help to organize, along with the departments of History and Physics, the “Asian Americans and STEM” workshop to be hosted by Yale's Center for Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration in spring of 2024.
