Join Us for a Special Visit from the New York State Assembly!
We’re excited to announce that a representative from the New York State Assembly will be visiting campus. Undergraduate and Graduate students are invited to stop by, meet our guest, and learn more about their work serving communities across New York State.
This is a great opportunity to:
* Ask questions about state government and public policy
* Hear firsthand about life working in public service
* Learn how students can get involved through internships and community engagement
About the Internship:
The NYS Assembly Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to gain real‑world experience in legislative offices. Interns assist with policy research, communications, district outreach, and the day‑to‑day operations of a legislative team. It’s an excellent opportunity for students interested in government, law, public service, communication, or community engagement. Interns build professional skills, make connections in state government, and contribute to impactful legislative work.
All students are welcome - whether you’re exploring career options or are curious about state government.
