Formed in 1948, the Audio Engineering Society is the only international professional society devoted exclusively to audio technology, uniting audio engineers, creative artists, scientists, and students worldwide by promoting advances in audio and disseminating new research in the field. Student chapters of this organization gain access to professionals and resources, with student members receiving free audio products and discounts to events like the upcoming AES New York (October 19-20, Javits Center, NYC.) We are seeking present AES members and interested people to form a new chapter here at RPI.
