Echoes of Process: Advanced Digital Imaging Spring 2025 Exhibition

You are cordially invited to our opening reception of Advanced Digital Imaging Spring 2025 on Tuesday April 8, 6 to 7pm in SAGE Lab 5th floor Dean’s Gallery. (Please bring your mobile devices to experience the AR works.)

The exhibition consists of works-in-progress and short study projects created in class in response to studies in gesture, emotion, the human body, virtual and augmented realities, and expanded notions of perception and time. Included in the exhibition are multimedia, photography, archival digital and hand drawn works on paper, canvas, and other materials. Many of the artworks have AR (Augmented Reality) elements that dialog with, and extend the reach of, the physical works using animation, video, music, and sound.

Delving into memory, the body, race, narrative, AI, and spatial perception, the works generate a critical awareness of the many dimensions of our world that shape thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

The exhibition is in the Sage Labs Dean’s Gallery and extends to the Vertical Galleries (near the elevators on each floor) and sections of the Corridors of Creativity near Sage 2411.
