Rensselaer Orchestra
An ensemble of undergraduate and graduate students, the group performs classical compositions in addition to new and experimental works at the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC).

Rensselaer Concert Choir
The oldest continuously performing music ensemble of undergraduate and graduate students at Rensselaer, the group performs music from the dawn of musical traditions to the present.

Rensselaer Chamber Music Ensemble
The Chamber Music Ensemble is broken up into smaller ensembles such as string quartets and woodwind quintets, as well as into more unusual combinations.

Roots of Africa Music Ensemble
An ensemble focused on the study and performance of African, Afro-Cuban, and New World percussion. Under the direction of Professor Ade Knowles, students learn the significance of performance within a folkloric ensemble and how to play percussion instruments from Africa, Cuba, and the New World.
