Dynamic tasks such as performing laparoscopic surgery, or playing video games, present a situation in which a series of decisions have to be made interdependently in a constantly changing environment. Different training strategies have been implemented to train users to perform optimally in such task environments. A good training strategy engages the user so that the user can form a conceptual framework for the task that they can then execute in the real-world environment.  This empirical study focuses on applying fractionation, a part-task training approach, using machine learning tools to train the eye on where to look during a task.
