Jean Tschanz-Egger is the designer at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has worked internationally as a designer and printmaker. In 2016 she received an Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region Juror’s Choice Award from the Hyde Collection, and her design work has been published in: Machine Project: The Platinum Collection, the PPC Zine, and the upcoming Ficciones Typografika Monograph. Her work in the LACMA permanent collection and she designed the Tang Museum’s catalog Borrowed Light: Selections from the Jack Shear collection, and the artist book Tel_ by Kamau Amu Patton. Her freelance work includes projects for DMY Berlin and the Museum of Modern Art. 


Tschanz-Egger is currently interested in publication, web, and exhibition design, as well as short-form fiction.
