Dr. Huaming Peng is a lecturer in the Department of Economics. He received his Ph.D. from Yale specializing in Econometrics. His areas of research include time-series analysis, forecasting, and panel data. As a faculty member at SUNY Albany, he taught a wide range of courses in Applied Econometrics, Econometric theories , Advanced Time Series Analysis, and Mathematical Methods for Economists.
His current research interests include measuring economic uncertainty, quantile regression of large dynamic panel models, forecast accuracy, large factor models, and modeling and testing for structural breaks. His research has been published in journals such as The International Journal of Forecasting and Econometric Reviews.
