Dr. Klein joins the Rensselaer faculty as an Assistant Professor of Economics in Fall 2018. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University (Bloomington) in May 2018, and a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012.
His primary research fields are international economics, industrial organization, and economic growth. His research examines the interactions between intellectual property rights, foreign direct investment, and international technology transfer in the global economy.
