Minors and Dual Majors

Minors

Many EMAC students complete minors to complement their focus of study in their major.  Most minors are only 16-20 credit hours (Courses cannot double-count towards both a major and a minor, as minors are intended to provide an area of focus outside the major).  Rensselaer has a wide variety of available minors, including Computer Science, Psychology, Marketing, Technological Entrepreneurship, Architecture, and Game Design Studies.

Dual Majors

In many cases it is possible to add a dual major and still graduate in four years with the B.S. in EMAC.  It is important for students to talk with their adviser to make sure this is the right decision for their academic and career goals. Popular dual majors for EMAC students are Computer Science, Psychology, and Business and Management.
