Dr. Ade Knowles and Ensemble Congeros to Perform at Troy Music Hall

Ade Knowles, Professor of Practice in the Arts, will lead Ensemble Congeros in a performance at the Troy Music Hall on September 26th, at 6:00 pm, as part of “Troy Night Out”. Jeanine Ouderkirk, one of the Capital Region’s top vocalists and instrumentalist will join Ensemble Congeros as Guest Artist. No admission charge.

Artist Clare Johnson discusses the myriad ways that writing inspires and interacts with her art, from her Post-it Note Project (drawing on a post-it note each night to remember something from the day) to her recent book art for Rainer Maria Rilke’s Roses. Johnson will talk about her process and share photos from both projects, as well her Drawing from Literature series and various collaborations with writers.
