Technology on Stage: Hedy Lamarr & George Antheil's Engineering Collaboration in the Award-Winning, Multi-Disciplinary Play "Frequency Hopping"Monday October 21st at 1pm, Sage 3205Elyse Singer, Playwright & Director  Giving an overview of the process and production of her play, "Frequency Hopping," Singer will open up conversation about the writing and production process with digital media in performance.

Radical interdisciplinary artist Paul Vanouse integrates art and science, media and performance, to address scientific constructions of race and identity, and empower audiences to dismantle, critique and debunk forensic DNA “fingerprinting” used as criminal evidence in FBI and police practices. Remember the OJ Simpson case? This talk will creatively counter mass-media dramatizations that typically misinform the public, and provide audiences with the conceptual tools to understand current issues surrounding use of DNA imaging and databasing. Part of the "Bioart in an Industrial Wasteland" project. Co-sponsored by iEAR Presents and the RPI ARTS Department!
