Co-Terminal BS/MS Program

A master's degree is increasingly required for higher-level jobs in today's economy.  Rensselaer is now offering undergraduates the opportunity to extend financial assistance and earn both a bachelor's and a master's degree in five years with the co-terminal graduate degree program.

Undergraduate financial aid is continued for co-terminal students through their 9th and 10th semesters of study, subject to eligibility requirements. Upon graduation, students earn both their BS and MS degrees simultaneously. To learn more about this program and how to apply, go to

Co-terminal examples for the EMAC program include the B.S. in EMAC with an M.S. in Computer Science, Management, Information Technology and Web Science, or Architectural Acoustics.
