The EMAC program prepared me well in that it gave me well rounded knowledge of pretty much the whole video production process.  Compared to other people in my career, I'm usually more flexible while working.  For example, working as an assistant director for TV commercials frequently requires me to retouch photos or edit video pilots, on top of my regular work.  I could do these things already when I graduated.  I do a variety of projects at work, and I owe quite a bit to EMAC for preparing me well in this regard.
