Freelance Assistant Director/Editor (TV Commercials, Music Videos, Short Films)
The EMAC program prepared me well in that it gave me
well rounded knowledge of pretty much the whole video production process. Compared to other people in my career, I'm
usually more flexible while working. For example, working as an assistant director for TV commercials
frequently requires me to retouch photos or edit video pilots, on top of my regular
work. I could do these things already
when I graduated. I do a variety of
projects at work, and I owe quite a bit to EMAC for preparing me well in this
Video (the current concentrations were defined later)
I returned to Thailand after graduation, where I worked as an assistant director for TV commercials for a few years. Presently, I do freelance work as assistant director and editor for TV commercials, music videos, and short films.
- Produce a commercial that is a Cannes Lion finalist
- Edit a music video that won the local award for music video of the year
- Direct two short films that are finalists for the local film festival
